TMP in Bulgaria

We are planning our next Transnational Meeting Project in Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria) in October 2019.

The meeting will have a two-tier objective:

- organise the implementation of the project's Year-2 scheduled activities,

- outline then write up the draft of the following Erasmus+ project

The Bulgarian partner sent us details to prepare the partners' stay.

Needed information

Prices might change in a year, but we will be flexible and arrange things within the budget requirements.

Means of transport

*Nearest international airport – Sofia airport

*Underground from the airport to Central bus station Sofia (around 1 euro)

*Change, to travel to partner’s city – bus from Central bus station Sofia (around 10 euros)

*Local transportation, day card or week card – not necessary (the hotel is in the centre, across the street from the school)

* Minibus? – possible if we agree on trips around Veliko Tarnovo

Accommodation

*Identify youth hostel, cheap hotel – a hotel across the street from the school

*Double rooms price around 25 euros

*Breakfast included - yes

*Identify places for lunch and dinner – the hotel restaurant

*Council – meeting with the town Council?

*Newspaper – yes Yantra, Borba – at the school

*Regional radio station

*Monuments – Fortress Tsarevets (remains of former Kings’ palace), The National Assembly, The Horsemen, the Old town (preserved old houses and museums, craftsmen workshops)
